Welcome to my Maple Leaf neighborhood self-taping studio in North Seattle, where actors of all experience levels shine in theatre, film, and college auditions! Here, you can unleash your acting talents and bring your auditions to life. I am dedicated to providing you with a warm and inviting space, equipped with top-notch gear, and offering my friendly assistance to ensure your self-tape auditions are seamless and enjoyable.

HOW LONG? When picking your session length, a half hour session is good for around 2 scenes or about 5 pages of sides, and about 2 songs or monologues. An hour is good for 3-5 scenes, and 3-4 songs and/or monologues. The more prepared you are to get your material filmed in 1-2 takes, the more we can fit. If you are not performance ready—please allow for more time. Please allow for 5-10 minutes at the end of your session for editing/transferring your files.
WHAT TO EXPECT with Basic Self-Tape
Scene Partner: If your audition requires scenes, I can serve as your off-camera reader.
Musical Auditions: For singers, I offer the option to play an accompaniment track on a speaker. Alternatively, I have a full, weighted keyboard available (please coordinate with your own accompanist).
Slate Recording: Capture your slate with close-ups, full-body shots, or profiles as needed.
Selecting a Take: I'm here to help you choose your best take, ensuring you present your strongest performance.
Unedited Digital Files: You will leave with your unedited digital files, ready for you to review and submit.
Self-Taping with Coaching and/or Editing
Adding to the basic self-taping services, this service offers an extra level of support with coaching and/or editing, perfect for those who are new to self-taping or require assistance in shaping their audition:
Acting Coaching: We'll work together to refine your performance, ensuring you deliver a standout audition.
Professional Editing: If you need your videos expertly edited, our service includes selecting the perfect moments from your takes, seamless transitions, framing and volume adjustments, labeling and exporting at the correct file size. You'll receive your fully edited files, ready to be submitted with confidence. Please allow time during your session for editing.
Reel Package Description
Create your custom acting or singing reel. You will get 3 hours of coached in-studio filming time, then I will edit your clips into a 2-3 minute reel. You will also receive your individual edited scenes, songs, or monologues to share as audition videos, or to share online.
